Signs and symptoms of thyroid gland disease

An over active thyroid can
cause the following physical signs
        
i.           
Red palms of the hands

Loose nails

     
iii.           
An irregular or unusually fast heart rate
(palpitations)
   
iv.           
Twitching or trembling
     
v.           
A swelling in the neck caused by an enlarged
thyroid gland (goiter)
   
vi.           
Warm skin and excessive sweating
  
vii.           
Loss of interest in sex
 viii.           
The muscle weakness
    
ix.           
Feeling tired all the time eye problems, such as
redness, dryness, or vision problems
     
x.           
Weight loss.
