Signs and symptoms of diabetes mellitus

Common
signs and symptoms include the following:
·        
Frequent urination
·        
Excessive thirst.
·        
Unexplained weight loss

·        
Extreme hunger
·        
Sudden vision challenges
·        
Tingling or numbness in the hands or feet.
·        
Feeling very tired much of the time
·        
Very dry skin.
·        
Sores that are slow to heal.
·        
More infection than usual.
Some
people may experience only a few symptoms that are listed above. About 50 per cent
of people with type 2 diabetes do not experience any symptom and does not know
they have this disease (UCSF Medical Centre, 2015).
