Our
client one of Australia’s most innovative and inspirational brands. They are
currently looking to recruit an E-commerce Manager for their high fashion
luxury range.
This
position takes full responsibility for the online stores and all digital
channels, as well as management of the CRM database and overall communication
strategy. This role is required to outline a formal strategy for

online growth
into international markets as well as the acquisition and retention strategy.

The
E-commerce Manager works closely with the Marketing Manager, Art Director and
PR teams to help develop and implement a content and digital plan across the
company’s social media channels. You will contribute to overall and promotional
strategy, manage and measure social media on a daily basis, forward plan and be
in charge of key social campaigns.
The
E-commerce Manager is responsible for:

Trade the website, monitoring all site KPIs in real time and make continuous
recommendations for improvement

Ensure all digital channels reflects the brand DNA

Achieve daily, weekly, monthly and year to date store sales budgets

Manage online marketing calendar including all digital activity from product
updates, site promotions through to acquisition and retention activity

Execute, coordinate reporting and make recommendations for online acquisition
and retention, including strategies around SEO, SEM, retargeting, display,
third party

Ensure site merch is appropriate and reflects latest arrivals

Ensure site content is relevant, displayed effectively, and optimised for
conversion and search engine optimisation (SEO)

Develop custom pages & builds as an advanced Magento CMS user

Ensure all site content is up to date and accurate for product, pricing and
promotions as well as brand standards

Provide buyers with product feedback to help drive sales online (faulty, fits,
best sellers, slow movers)

Monitor and take action to maintain appropriate stock levels, liaise with
Allocators and Planners to ensure online store has correct stock width, depth
and volume

Action all markdowns on site

Liaise with suppliers to ensure all orders are fulfilled, there are no
shortages/partials and the business fulfilment strategy is optimised for
maximum time and cost efficiencies
This
position requires an applicant with skills in

Analytical thinking: Ability to analyse, investigate and interpret financial
data and information.

Quick to build industry specific insights, particularly when it comes to Social
Media and Digital innovation

Experienced in creating and developing marketing materials

Able to conduct desk research, analyse information and clearly communicate and
present the findings in a clear and concise manner.

Can communicate effectively

Passionate about quality design & products

Marketing Degree preferred

Relevant cross-functional experience (marketing, digital agency, advertising,
project management)

Understanding of retail environment with global ability

Luxury retail experience is preferred

Significant working knowledge in Social Media management, ideally in retail
