QD Events Limited, based within the SECC, is one of the UK’s leading Event companies with a portfolio of high profile events including The Scottish Wedding Shows, The Scottish Baby & Toddler Show, The Scottish Caravan & Outdoor Leisure Shows and the renowned IRN-BRU Carnival.
We are looking to recruit a Sales Executive to work within the small team dedicated to The Scottish Fishing Show: an annual trade event for the commercial fishing industry. This role is responsible for sourcing new customers, generating new leads and ultimately, securing exhibitors to participate in the event. This will involve contact with key decision makers by telephone and occasionally face-to-face.
You must be self-motivated, personable, good at building relationships and passionate about achieving goals. Ideally, you’ll have telesales experience, but more importantly, you’ll be tenacious, creative, be able to work under pressure with good attention to detail and the ability to achieve results with limited supervision. It is also important that you can work flexibly as during the Events, there will be the need to work outside normal hours, including weekends and public holidays.
