JOB TITLE: Manager E- Commerce & Communications

DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily
update of the groups E-commerce systems, to allow consumers to purchase
tickets online as well as shop online - Work
closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, Loyalty & E-Commerce to
enhance the Rwandair Internet experience - Collect
and update web content, data loading, maintain site content where
appropriate and supervision - Initiate
and develop marketing programs, implementing online security and
coordinating marketing efforts - Maintain
strong understanding of the aviation industry trends and demonstrate
creative execution of new routes (opportunities) - Initiate
and coordinate social media initiatives (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) - Leverage
marketing techniques such as multivariate testing, search engine
optimization and dynamic imaging to ensure product adoption and overall
site visitor satisfaction - Search
engine optimization - Manage
relationships with 3rd party partners in Internet activities (SITA,
payment gateway, web designers) - Customer
service where applicable - Manage
E-Commerce Shipments for online shopping purchases - Co-ordinate
with retail buyers in order to maintain optimal levels to drive sales and
achieve sales plan - Formulate
E-commerce operational plans to achieve business goals, policies,
procedures and internal controls to optimize the use and effectiveness of
E-commerce sites. - Identify
research and propose strategic opportunities, functionality, applications,
services and vendors to facilitate increased adoption of client’s products
and services - Regularly
review the customer’s experience on the website and recommend/apply
adjustments with Senior Marketing Manager in order to boost conversion
rates. - Ensure
all content copy; information on products and non-products is current and
accurate online. - Supervise
the online booking engine activities - Track
traffic and sales performance online amending where necessary to increase
sales. - Analyze
customer preferences and behavior to monitor trends and future sales
growth. - Explore
analytic software, campaign (email) management software, and support
systems to improve the online experience. - Ensure
cohesion of online content and offline prints for advertising and
campaigns.
EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE:
- A
university degree in Marketing and related fields. - At
least 2 years. experience in a service industry.

DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop
a comprehensive commercial strategy that encompasses customer
propositions, revenue targets and deployment of key commercial levels to
meet company objectives - Develop
a clear and constant awareness program for customer needs. - Develop
and monitor the demand that drives strategic plan including network and
fleet growth leading to company profitability, - Establish
cross functional working processes with finance, HR and operations on
business processes that require multi departmental involvement such as
product, schedule, and new market entry. - Maintain
a constant awareness of competitor activities - Manage
and motivate the commercial team to ensure efficient service delivery - Identify
deficiencies in human capacity other resources required within the
department and seek intervention to address the deficiencies - Ensure
consistency within company’s branding and marketing mix, especially PR and
the Internet and appreciating its continuity; - Ensuring
excellent levels of customer satisfaction through working closely with the
operational teams.

EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE:
- University
Degree in Commerce with bias in Marketing. An MBA will be added advantage
with bias in Marketing. Any degree in Science or Arts or its equivalent
with experience in commercial activities. - At
least 10 years work experience out of which 5 years should be at
management level in related discipline. - Possess
a deep understanding of the airline industry and a comprehensive knowledge
of airline commercial operational challenges.

DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulate
strategic commercial objectives of RwandAir Products and Services within
the designated region - Identify
new sales opportunities and take steps to implement them for new revenue
streams; - Undertake
overall responsibility and accountability for the management, control and
administration of RwandAir assets, fiscal and marketing policies in Doula; - Build
and maintain country-wide relationships with Government Departments,
Regulatory Authorities, Commercial Organisations, Third Party Suppliers
and Contractors and ensure conformity with local and international legal
requirements, conventions, policies, procedures and regulations; - Monitor
and recommend pricing levels in the country to maximize yield and revenue; - Maintain
overall administrative and budgetary control of the Country; - Provide
adequate and timely feedback to head office on achievements/deficiencies/
market trends/ challenges with recommendation and insights on issues.
EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE:
