would be working closely with the Surgeon and the Practice Manager to assist in
the smooth functioning and daily operation of this paperless boutique practice. 
Your role would be to complement the practice with your bright and warm
personality and be always willing to put the patient first.
The
successful candidate would b

e able to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to
patient care and a drive and enthusiasm to have the practice working at its
optimum.

Previous
administrative experience is essential.  You will need to utilise your
excellent administrative skills to ensure that the practice provides all patients
with exceptional customer care and service.
Excellent
presentation and communication skills both written and verbal are vital.
This
role is available immediately.
Key
Responsibilities
:
  • All
    administrative aspects of patient care
  • Reception
    duties including phone calls and meet and greet
  • Consultation
    billing (occasional theatre billing)
  • Screening
    and management of incoming emails and website enquiries
  • Co-ordinating
    effectively the Surgeon’s diary, including scheduling patients
    appointments
  • Assisting
    the Surgeon with day to day administrative tasks as needed
  • Surgical
    bookings and quotes (when covering leave)
  • Processing
    Medicare and Health Fund claims
  • Liaising
    regularly with the Principal
  • Operation
    of Practice Management Software – Genie preferred
  • Management
    of Practice’s social media sites
Essential
Skills and Experience:
  • A
    prior administrative role
  • A
    genuine desire to provide high quality service to the Surgeon’s patients
    and referrers
  • The
    ability to develop and implement new practice systems
  • A
    commitment to improving the function and performance of the practice
  • Understanding
    and experience of Microsoft Office Suite (Apple)
  • Your
    IT skills would be used in a timely and efficient way with regards to the
    practice correspondence and to maintain accurate electronic patient
    records and accounts
  • Excellent
    organisation and time management skills with a can do attitude
  • Ability
    to prioritise and multi-task as is needed in the practice environment
  • Leave
    coverage (as needed)
Desirable
Skills:
  • Previous
    experience with a specialist software program (such as Genie)
  • Prior
    administrative experience within a private Specialist practice
  • Experience
    working with or dealing with Plastic Surgeons
Hours:
  • Monday,
    Tuesday and Thursday 8:30am – 4:30pm (flexible)
Salary:
  • Commensurate
    with experience
