In the framework of FUNDING – LEADERSHIP AND
OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN Project (FLOW), RESEAU DES FEMMES OEUVRANT POUR LE
DEVELOPPEMENT RURAL, with the ACTION AID INTERNATIONAL funding, would like to
recruit two Experts to facilitate in trainings; one in Sustainable
Agriculture, Agro forestry, Livestock rearing and Water Conservation training
and the other one in Leadership training of Community facilitators in GISAGARA
DISTRICT.

1. Consultant in Sustainable Agriculture, Agro
forestry, Livestock rearing and Water Conservation

Education, Qualifications and Experience
- The Consultant should have a Master’s Degree,
Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in the field of culture ‘and
must have a good general understanding of agro forestry, water
conservation, livelihoods enhancement experience, livestock rearing
management expertise. - She/he must have experience on sustainable
agricultural practices or interventions with specific reference to the
project working areas. - She/he must be fluent in both English and
Kinyarwanda, - Prior experience in preparation of training
packages related to the above topics will be an added advantage. Local
consultants will be preferred. - A good understanding of gender issues is
desirable.
2. Consultant in Leadership.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Public administration,
social sciences or related- fields; - Extended knowledge and experience of’ women
rights, women leadership, cooperatives management, advocacy in related
issues with women smallholder farmers group; - Extended experience in carrying out leadership
training; - Knowledge of key policies in agriculture,
gender and other conventions that support the rights of women .farmers and
knowledge on citizen government engagement; - Fluent in both Kinyarwanda and English; and
ability to translate key concepts into local language is desirable; - Knowledge on issues of unpaid care work would
be an added advantage.
