Eligibility:
-BS Soil Science, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering or related field. BS Soil Science, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering or related field
– Has at least two (2) years of relevant experience
– Proficient in MS Access, Power Point and graphic software.
-Familiarity with managing large data sets, good working knowledge of data automation and barcoding
– Good to excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Scholarship Description: The successful candidate shall support the implementation of field research, collection and processing of data and exchange of technical information for the ecological intensification (EI) platform and the long-term experiments (LTE) at IRRI.
Roles and responsibilities – Assist in the management of data and documentation for the EI and LTE
– Assist in updating the EI and LTE protocols, reports and database
– Participate and assist in the planning and implementation of the EI and LTE field research including collection and processing of plant and soil samples
– Assist in day-to-day field operations of the EI and LTE from land preparation to harvesting, including data collection and processing
– Participate in the preparation and writing of technical reports and scientific papers
– Perform all other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the supervising IRS
