An
excellent opportunity is currently available for a highly versatile individual
with either a Production and/or Maintenance Supervisory background within a
manufacturing operation. The role encompasses production, maintenance and
continuous improvement activities as associated with the running and
maintaining of a wide range of automated crushing and processing plant and
equipment, as well as incorporating the boilers, turbines and generators which
produce steam and electricity for the factory operations.

the responsibility of coordinating the production operations on shift and leading
a team of operators, tradespeople and support personnel. As a Shift
Supervisor you provide major support to the engineering department during the
non-crushing season and supervising aspects of the annual overhaul and
maintenance program also forms an important part of the role.

Key
Position Requirements:
Position Requirements:
- Proven
production supervisory and/or process engineering skills and experience
associated with a heavy manufacturing or similar operation; including the
ability to ensure that production targets and product quality standards
are met. - Demonstrated
ability to co-ordinate factory investigations, maintenance programs and
responses to breakdowns. - High
level troubleshooting and problem solving skills. - Effective
leadership and supervisor skills; including the ability to provide
training and support to Operators. - Well-developed
administrative and computer skills; including the ability to interpret and
report on a wide range of production data. - Tertiary
and/or trade qualifications in the science or engineering fields
