With the firm set to undergo new projects, this is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Electrical Designer to join their team. You must be able to demonstrate strong skills using Microstation coupled with additional software training, also proven ability to act as a mentor and leader to less experienced Designers. Based in Brisbane CBD and close to all public transport, they are ideally located so traffic will be a thing of the past. Qualifications, skills and experience:
• Eligible to work in Australia
• Previous experience in an electrical design capacity within the mining industry
• Possess a high level of computer literacy and experience with MicroStation (additional training provided to improve your skills)
• Needs to be able to interrogate the 3D model and produce 2D “cuts” for production of general arrangement diagrams
• Exposure to Electrical Reticulation for Bulk Materials Handling Facilities which will include Conveyors, Substations and HV Switchgear
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide less senior designers
• Relevant qualifications in Design / Drafting
