My client:
Headed up by one of the most recognised names in the Australian investment
industry, my client is a publicly listed company in the financial services
sector providing funds management, company valuation and research services via
offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Through an absolute return focussed and
value based investment methodology, the company’s mission is to grow its
clients’ wealth and provide a range of investment options for private, retail
and wholesale. Additionally it provides investment education programs to
those wanting to explore investing in stocks as a wealth enhancement strategy.
At the core of the company’s success is a stable and focused group of
investment analysts and consultants. A rare opportunity has arisen to
join the team in Sydney to build relationships with high net worth private clients.
The role:
Part of a national team of Private Client Directors, your key areas of
responsibility would be:
- Driving
the company to achieve and surpass new FUM and client retention budgets - Spearhead
the development, communication and implementation of sales growth focussed
aspects of the business plan - Ensure
customer service levels are achieved for all clients - Ensure
adequate and quality information flow to clients - Professionally
represent the company with clients and business partners - Support
collaboration across the Sales team to accommodate the rapid growth
objectives
ideal candidate:
To be considered for this role, you will be able to tick these
boxes:
- Tertiary
qualifications in commerce, business, marketing or a related field - At
least 10 years senior level experience in the funds management/advisory
sector, probably in a sales/client services role - Highly
professional personal presentation - Highly
developed communication, negotiation and sales skills - A
working knowledge of all company regulations (e.g. ASIC, ASX, Companies
Act) - A
high level of awareness and understanding of the funds management and
advice industry and the various products on offer
remuneration package incorporating incentives will be negotiated with the
successful candidate.
