The
opportunity has arisen for a Internal Sales/C

ustomer
Service officer to join a reputable manufacturing and
distribution company based in Central Western Sydney. You will be
responsible for all internal sales and customer service functions as well
assisting with the coordination of Client Accounts, on a temporary full time
basis with view for permanency for the right candidate. Hours of work are from
7:45am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday. This role will be ideal for a dependable,
detail-orientated and resourceful individual.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Arrange
    manufacture as per specification and customer requirements.
  • To
    ensure goods are supplied in a timely manner to the customers needs.
  • Ensuring
    supplied orders are as per agreed order value. 
  • As
    required provide service to customer needs in consultation and
    co-operation with the Sales Account Manager and the respective branch
    staff
  • The
    processing of sales orders (including pricing) for customer orders
    received.
  • Co-ordination
    of deliveries as in consultation with warehouse staff and/or factory
    staff.
  • Communication
    with customers in regard to sales orders, pricing, deliveries, product
    information and customer complaints or feedback. To develop customer
    relationships through trust and willingness to meet their needs.
  • To
    process cash sales as per company procedures and to raise tax invoices as
    required.
  • To
    investigate customer credit claims.
 
To be successful you will have the following:
  • Experience
    working in an industrial/manufacturing or construction industry 
  • Desirable:
    Air Conditioning Product Knowledge
  • Excellent
    telephone manner, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience
    in product costing principles and design methods
  • Experience
    in Pronto desired
  • Able to
    work well in team environment
  • Intermediate
    to advance Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Negotiation
    and planning skills
  • Strong
    attention for detail
  • Ability
    to work independently
