In the year 2001, a group of experienced and well established insurance managers formed The Achieve Group, an agency representing Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad. The group of like-minded managers believe in achieving one’s personal growth and personal goals through development of one’s strengths and potential to the fullest via the acquisition of relevant skills and knowledge. In this regard, education and
on-on-the job training is prioritized. This belief has very much contributed to our success in the last ten years.

We continue to grow from strength to strength and in the spirit of giving back to the community that has supported us all these years, The Achieve Group is developing a project called the Internship Program. It is a form of on-the-job training for undergraduates and should not be deemed a temporary job. The program aims to expose undergraduates to the world of life insurance. This training is designed to better equip undergraduates once they enter the corporate world. This contribution is borne out of goodwill from The Achieve Group to the community and we hope it will receive the support that we anticipate.

Internship for Sales & Marketing Students
MYR 300 – 500 plus commission
Penang

During the internship period, you will be exposed to these areas:

Responsibilities:
• To expose undergraduates to the life insurance industry in general and to insurance sales in particular.
• Interns are expected to learn skills on how to handle prospecting, acquiring appointments, products presentation, closing and most important of all Personal Development Courses conducted in-house.
• Training will be held in the form of formal classes (knowledge-based) and on-the-job (experienced-based) training.
• Knowledge-based training will center on life insurance, products, sales procedure and work ethics. This will be done in the first week of internship.
• On-the-job training will include implementation of what they learned as well as hand-on experiences.
• Participating undergraduate will gain exposure on the insurance industry through acquiring knowledge and experience in areas of :
• Life insurance history
• Life insurance products
• Work ethics
• Interpersonal skills
• Selling Skills – prospecting, approach, presentation & closing

Requirements:
• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): discipline, good interpersonal skill, team player.
• Preferred skill(s): self reliance, goal oriented.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Preferred language(s): Chinese.
• 5 Internship position(s) for duration of 5 month(s).
