Clothing manufacturing unit based on the south coast of Kenya is looking to appoint a qualified and experienced Production Manager.
Minimum five years experience is essential.
Requirements
• Ability to run the production department to include tracking, timing and deadlines to ensure delivery.
• Managing product development & production process from initial design concept through to bulk product.
• Running seasonal development & production calendars – working closely with mills & commercial team to anticipate raw material pre-books & factory capacity reservation.
• Responsible for assisting management with the review of costing at all 3 stages (prototype, market sample & production)
• Updating all teams on product deliveries – weekly review of production tracking.
• Oversight of cutting, production, finishing and technical managers.
• Self motivated and entrepreneurial
