About the position
Business Development Manager-
Leisure Sector:
• assist in promoting and selling all facets of the venues
• develop a culture of high quality proactive selling
• Maintaining and develop existing business key accounts
• Meet sales targets
• Host and conduct site inspections for prospective and existing clients
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge in order to successfully sell services and facilities to guests
• Attend VIP and industry events
• Report on sales activities and successes
The ideal candidate will have:
• A minimum 2 years previous experience in a pro-active sales role, preferably in the hotel or tourism industry
• Ideally have experience in the operations of hotels and resorts
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Word and Excel)
• solid organizational, interpersonal relationship, management, influencing and negotiation skills
• Have excellent written and verbal skills
• Have exceptional presentation
• Confident and positive
