University of St Andrews is offering five fully
funded studentships for PhD level. Postgraduate research
studentships are available in Human Cognition and Cognitive Neuroscience,
Behavioral Neuroscience, Perception, Perception of Mind and Social
Psychology. This studentship cover home fees and provides a stipend of
£13500/year. 1st Feb 2013 is the deadline for applications.

Eligibility:
– Successful applicants usually possess a first or good upper class second
degree in psychology from a British university or its equivalent from an
overseas institution.
– We also encourage applications from graduates whose initial training has been
in a cognate discipline.  It should be noted that we are keen to reward
results that have been achieved against a background of personal hardship or
social disadvantage.
– The Master of Science Converstion to Psychology course offers a conversion
route into psychology for students who hold an honours degree in a subject
other than psychology.
-Overseas applicants whose first language is not English are also asked to
provide evidence of competence in written and spoken English (for example,
an IELTS or TOEFLscore) (e.g., IELTS ? 7.0 (including ? 7.5
writing skills)).
