Scholarship
Description:
A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably qualified
candidate with a good honours degree in science or engineering to undertake
research studies leading to a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. The
project is to investigate the optimal design and operation of post-combustion
carbon capture technologies aiming to synthesise and techno-economically
evaluate highly-integrated processes for clean coal power generation with low
emissions of CO2. It will form part of continuing research in Carbon Capture in
the Laboratory for Multiscale Systems at the School of Chemical and
Biomolecular Engineering and is in collaboration with industry and major
external research institutions locally and overseas.
