Areas of Responsibility:
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the city campus library, provide readers advisory services and post graduate research support, supervision of sub-ordinate staff
Required Skills or Experience
• Bachelor degree in librarianship/information studies.
• Minimum of three (3) years recent experience; progressively responsible supervisory experience in an academic or research library: direct experience of library automated systems: knowledge and understanding of best practices, current issues and trends in information literacy instruction and library technologies; excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication and planning skills
• Must be willing to work during evening and Saturdays on a shift basis
