Site & Project Engineer / Manager
(Johor – Johor Bahru)
Responsibilities:
• Working closely with the site personnel, you will provide the direction and guidance to them in the implementation and completion of projects within the budgeted cost and delivery timeline.
• Primarily, you shall be responsible for ensuring the effective project planning, scheduling, coordination, execution and monitoring of a project.
• You are also required to report the project progress to the management on a regular basis.
• You must make certain that projects are complying with any terms and conditions of contract, safety standard, specifications, quality requirements of customers and meeting delivery schedules.
• Furthermore, you will represent the company to liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and relevant Government authorities.
Requirements:
• Possess a recognized Degree in Civil Engineering / Building / Quantity Surveyor / Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 year’s experience in property development and construction overseeing the overall project planning, implementation and site management in a multi-million projects.
• Outstanding project management skills of having completed projects in time with good costs (costs within budget), quality and safety control.
• Capable to handle multiple projects through effective site administration.
• A mature individual who is result-oriented, aggressive, committed and pro-active with good leadership qualities.
• Ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other relevant government authorities to achieve delivery objectives.
• Good knowledge of budgeting, cost estimation, contract documentation and specifications, and project planning software & related tools
• Must possess a high level of dedication towards works.
• Knowledge on ISO 9001:2000 standards and its application to the job will be an added advantage.
