Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC)
Specialist – PCI Malawi
Preferred Deg rein Social Sciences, Communications or relevant behavioural
related field, Minimum 3-5 yrs significant experience in using SBCC in health,
HIV/AIDS or food security, Understanding of govt policies and demonstrated
skills in capacity building
Use qualitative methods such as the Barrier Analysis to understand what
perpetuates and/or prevents the behaviour and quantitative methods to quantify
behaviour changes, Lea
d the development and implementation of SBCC strategy to
create demand for health services, Develop training materials and coordinate
the integration of diverse SBCC strategies, Design and implement quality
assurance tools and strategies for assessing impact of SBCC interventions,
Facilitate participatory training workshops to strengthen SBCC capacities of
partners and beneficiaries, Conduct joint field supportive supervision
including data quality assessments, Identify and document best practices and
success stories, Participate in the development of implementation plans and
budgets
