Parsons Corporation Multiple Engineering and Construction Management Jobs Vacancies in Liberia

Parsons Corporation is seeking candidates to fill upcoming engineering and construction management positions for the upcoming USAID Liberia Rural Infrastructure Supporting Enterprises (RISE) program in Monrovia, Liberia. Parsons is a global provider of architectural & engineering services and holds a global contract with USAID for the provision of infrastructure services in developing nations globally. The anticipated program will encompass infrastructure needs for farm to market roads and other associated infrastructure for agriculture value chain development, upgrade physical space, and county agricultural vocational centers and Ministry of Agriculture facilities in four core counties and implement the infrastructure support for Centers of Excellence.
Duties:
Parsons is seeking qualified individuals with engineering expertise and project management responsibilities for the delivery of the Liberia RISE Program under contract to USAID. Engineers that are professionally licensed in Liberia or other West African countries are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management; master’s degree preferred;
• Professional Engineer registration preferred;
• At least 10 years professional experience in one or more of the following: civil engineering, vertical structures, road construction, construction and project management, contracts and procurement within in international development, preferably in Africa;
• Experience in being a team leader, and the administering of contracts specific to construction of vertical structures or roads;
• Demonstrate a local knowledge of Liberia’s construction environment including local companies, partners, and other contractors/NGOs working in-country;
• Experience with USAID compliant procurement systems;
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in both written and spoken English.
