The Parliamentary Refreshment Rooms provide
Members of Parliament, staff and visitors with a variety of dining
opportunities within Parliament House. Applications are invited from
enthusiastic professionals with a passion for food to work in the Catering
Services unit of the Parliament of Western Australia.

a gymnasium. Successful candidates will need to be suitably qualified,
demonstrate exceptionally high standards in food preparation and be familiar
with OSH and HACCP procedures.

Duties include preparation and service for a la
carte, table d’hôte, buffets and canapés, and assisting the kitchen team with
the staff cafeteria and functions.
The successful applicant will be part of a
casual labour pool consisting of several capable Chefs who are required to work
weekdays only (no weekend work) with the occasional opportunity for
additional hours if desired.
Required working hours will be as the business
requires and according to candidate availability. An availability roster
will be drawn up prior to starting and dates and times can be established well
in advance to facilitate other working commitments (i.e. this position may
suit a part-timer looking to enhance their income, FIFO Chefs on R&R, Chefs
on R&R
).
