Director of
Collaboration and Outreach – Uganda
Panagora Group, a
woman-owned small business providing novel and integrated solutions in global
health and international development, seeks a full-time Director of
Collaboration and Outreach for an anticipated USAID/Uganda activity. The
Director of Collaboration and Outreach will lead learning, communications, and
knowledge management activities on this mission-support contract. We seek
innovation and highly motivated individuals to work on our team.
Responsibilities:
· Support effective
collaboration between and among USAID and its partners
· Events planning,
facilitation, note-taking and related services
· Engage in
thought-leadership efforts with USAID and other Ugandan stakeholders, thought
leaders, and influence shapers
· Maintain
relationships with Ugandan media, and with actors in regional and international
development
· Develop reports,
presentations, and other materials for learning events
· Develop
co-financing support for USAID/Uganda STIP grants with private sector and other
donors and partner
· Strengthen USAID
efforts to integrate innovation throughout its portfolio
Qualifications:
· Master’s Degree in
communications, journalism, international development or a related field
· Minimum 10 years
direct experience of communications, partnership-building, and/or CLA
· 15 years of
experience in the international development field
· Knowledge of and
experience with setting up and managing cutting-edge communication tools, such
as social media platforms, interactive websites, etc.
· Demonstrated
skills and experience in building partnerships with various stakeholders
· Experience in
Uganda
· Strong
communication and interpersonal skills
· Previous
experience on USAID contracts
· Fluency in written
and spoken English
