OCWA is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, providing 2nd tier specialist advice in Welfare Benefits and Debt work. Last year we assisted clients to obtain over £3m in increased welfare benefit gains and debt write-offs. We provide specialist training and support to frontline agencies such as the Citizens Advice Bureau, respond regularly to government consultations on welfare reform, and currently we have a test case of national significance before the Court of Appeal.
We are looking for dynamic Non Executive Directors/Trustees to join us and help guide us through these uncertain times. Ideally you will be a Board Director seeking a non-paid, non-executive directorship and with a genuine interest in supporting people less fortunate with real issues. If your particular expertise is in IT, Marketing, Learning & Development, Legal, Commercial or all round General Management, we would like to hear from you.
