Operation Smile is
an international medical charity with a presence in more than 60 countries
whose global network of thousands of credentialed medical volunteers is
dedicated to helping improve the health and lives of children, Founded in 1982,
Operation Smile has provided over 220,000 free surgical procedures to children
and young adults with cleft left, cleft palate and facial deformities
Operation Smile
expanded its reach to Malawi in 2012, Since then it has provided free surgery
to 576 Malawian children and adults, It has also provided training to more than
243 health care professionals, Now locally registered, Operation seeks to
recruit a Programme Coordinator and a Patient Mobilisation Coordinator
Programme
Coordinator – PC – Operation Smile
The PC is
responsible for all activities pertaining to Operation Smile in Malawi, S/he
will be responsible for all logistics operating to programs of Operation Smile
including fact finds, working with in-country hosts, leading th mission and
reporting on it, You will work with the Country Manager, Regional Program
Manager and Regional Director to help to incorporate our sponsors in missions
through employee volunteer programs and press conferences to promote the
relationships, This job will also involve assisting the Development team in
fundraising efforts from local companies as well as local media to create more
brand awareness in Malawi
Bachelors degree in
Business, Non-profit Management, Public Health, International Relations,
Marketing, logistics or equivalent
