have grown to serve 100,000 farm families with more than 1,000 full-time field
staff. We provide farmers with a “market bundle” that includes
education, finance, seed and fertilizer, and market access. Our program is
proven impactful – every year, we weigh thousands of harvests and measure
50-100% average gain in farm income per acre. We only serve farmers, and we
always put Farmers First. We are looking for Internal Auditor.

• Design
  and execute audit tests in compliance with conventional auditing
  guidelines.
• Identify
  business controls and control deficiencies.
• Document
  all the work performed to an agreed standard.
• Be
  transparent in your communication with both the auditees and your manager.
• Develop
  an understanding of internal and external compliance requirements.
• Develop
  critical thinking to identify potential improvements.
• Documenting
  business controls and control deficiencies.
• Confirming
  remediation plans and deadlines with business stakeholders.
• Prepare
  reports on audit findings to share with the department management team and
  country leadership.
• Provide
  workable solutions, guidance on process improvement and best practices.
• Follow
  up audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation and action on
  corrective measures to mitigate identified risks.

• A
  degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
• The
  ideal candidate will have previous professional experience in accounting,
  agriculture, and / or logistics, a desire to learn new skills and be
  humble but confident.
• Proficiency
  of MS office required.
• Very
  good computer, organization and attention to detail skills.
• Soft
  skills, personal work ethics, honest, discreet and trustworthy.
• Good
  interpersonal skills with the ability to encourage a team-based approach.
• The
  ability to communicate effectively in English and Kinyarwanda (both orally
  and in writing).
• A
  logical mind with the capacity to overcome difficult problems creatively.
