manage this growth, we are looking for an “Assistant Transport Manager”
to start as soon as possible.

Your
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Taking
overall vehicles coordination (ONE ACRE FUND vehicles, hired taxis), - Arranging
transports (drivers) - Managing
drivers and conducting driving tests - Controlling
and tracking all fuel consumption - Ensuring
top controls car safety (safety tools, first aid kits in cars, driver
schedules that ensure everyone has proper rest, etc.) - Prepare
and submit related payments requests - Work
with the Mechanic on what purchases (parts and materials for workshop) and
track all purchases with aims of reducing costs on parts and labor over
time - Treat
everyone, including managers, co-workers, and partners with respect and
humility, and maintain open lines of communication - Other
duties as determined by your manager
Knowledge
and Experience:

- At
least Secondary school education in Automotive Mechanics bust
post-secondary education a plus - 3
years working experience in transport; better if he/she worked for a
transport company - 1-2
years data entry and processing experience (required) - Maintain
a valid driver’s license with class B - Intermediate
skills in excel - Excellent
communication in written and spoken English with fluency in Kinyarwanda.
French is also preferred. - A
strong sense of ethics, honesty, and integrity - Ability
to prioritize - Experience
managing a large team - Ability
to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Willingness
and ability to work hard and give extra time when it is needed - Willing
to be based in Rubengera with frequent travels around the country - Passionate
about serving smallholder farmers
