JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Technology Associate is a frontend position that requires innovative, dedicated, hardworking and willing to learn person. The Technology Associate will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
Overview:
§ Work under the direction of the Team Engineer to maintain clients/office digital resources and assist in nurturing clients/office staff in development of technical skills
§ Follow policies & procedures of the company in alongside with specific policies & procedures from the client in planning, implementing, and upholding the policies and procedures.
§ Assist on committee as may be requested to dynamically evaluate, improve, update, and implement new technology integration.
§ Manage, maintain, document, and implement client technologies.
§ Staff should be willing to learn implementation, update, and maintenance of different clients location and should be flexible for fast adjustment
§ Assist senior staff or designated staff in delivery of Instructional Technology Training to all employees and client as may be require.
§ Will be responsible to market/sell product or represent the company anywhere at anytime
1. Participate in requirement gathering
2. Write requirement gathering report
3. Prepare questionnaire for software projects
4. Create, edit and delete email accounts for designated clients
5. Participate in the conceptualization of web applications
6. Providing suggestions to the development team during the development stage of product to meet the client’s business needs
7. Documenting the acquired results of analysis and workflows as well as obtaining sign-off from the appropriate client
8. Document software defects and report defects to software developers as well as monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
9. Proficient developed client application and be willing to prepare training materials and to provide end-user training
10. Provide first level application support to client
11. Test application and report test results to senior staff and be willing to demonstrate scenario
12. Install, configure and manage application installed at clients location
13. Updating of client website using various web editing tool or platform
14. Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
15. Any other tasks as may be assigned
JOB REQUIREMENT:
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
•Knowledge of company programming procedures and programming languages. Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports. Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications. Knowledge of computer flow charts and of programming logic and codes. Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications. Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions. Ability to learn and support new systems and applications. Work with users requires interpersonal skills. This is normally acquired through a combination of a Bachelor’s Degree and three to five years of programming experience.
• Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.
