ENVIRONMENTAL
OFFICER
Requirements
- Implement
and manage the performance monitoring and measurement programme on all
aspects of potential environmental impacts; groundwater, air quality and
other relevant aspects - Provide
technical guidance and support to ensure compliance to legal requirements - Provide
environmental training and awareness - Implement
and monitor rehabilitation and closure plans
Qualifications
Degree in Environmental Management or equivalent
Work
experience
Minimum 3 years work experience in a mining environment
Competencies
- Good
communication and report writing skills - IS014001
implementation and auditing - Good
interpersonal skills - Safety
and Health experience will be an added advantage - Class B
driver’s License
The successful
candidate should have a traceable record of providing electrical and instrument
maintenance in large industrial plants.
