More fire in the APC as Oshiomole blasts Okorocha and Amosun

Adams Oshiomole, the National Chairman
of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has decided to add more fuel to the fire which
has find itself into the party resulting from the loggerheads between himself
and Rochas Okorocha (Imo State Governor), Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun State Governor)
and Abdul-Aziz Yari (Zamfara State Governor) who has expressed disappointment
in the National Chairman of the party when their preferred candidates could not
win the governorship primary elections in their respective states.

Oshiomole ceased the opportunity
of the solidarity visit paid to him at his office in Ado Drive Abuja by the All
Progressive Congress (APC) women leaders from Edo State and Abuja to send a
defying message to them, by saying that with or without Okorocha and Amosun,
APC will win in Imo and Ogun state in the 2019 elections.

He further referred to them as “poor
students of their own history” citing the fact that all the three governors
have forgotten that they have lost elections in the time past before they
joined the APC.

Adams  Oshiomole stated that the party is bigger than
any individual whether governor or whosoever. He advised the warring governors
to remember that they have only one vote and the focus of the APC is on the
common man in the streets of Imo and Ogun states and not of the few individuals
who called themselves “King Makers”.

He said that it is true that
state governors has a vital role to play in the progress of the party in their
various states, but regretted that there are a few of them who has become a
liability to the party as a result of their attitude, so the party is seriously
studying these governors who have become liabilities rather than assets to the
party and to relate with them with a very high degree of caution.

The National Chairman of the APC,
Adams Oshiomole stressed that irrespective of the anti-party activities of
these warring governors, the popularity of the APC in the above-mentioned
states is on the increase.
