Job
Description
As Repair Specialist
you will be responsible to:
• Repair broken PCBs of Mobisol products
• Test and categorize repaired items
• Monitor, document and report all repair activities on a
daily basis
• Document all used components/ spare parts and tools that
need to be restocked in the provided documentation of the Logistic department
• Document movement of items between warehouse and workshop
in the stock card
• Train Mobisol repair technicians
• Take care of special repair cases, such as repairing
battery testers, panel testers, etc.
• Act as a contact point for different departments in Berlin,
Tanzania, and Kenya regarding the introduction of repair processes for new
products
Requirements
• Engineering Degree in Electronics or Electrical
• Deep understanding of microelectronics is required
• Hands-on experience in accurate soldering
• Familiar with CAD software, such as EAGLE PCB Design
• Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable with
quantitative analytics
• 1+ year in a technical field related to Mobisol is a plus
(Solar technology, battery technology, test equipment)
• Experience in programming microcontrollers is a plus
• Dynamic self-starter, high energy and strong initiative
• Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda
