1.0 PREMARABLE
The roads fund Board is Government institutions under the Ministry of works,
transport and communications. The Roads Funds Board was established by the road
and fuel tolls Act. CAP 220 of 2006
The Board is
mandated to ensure full collections of fuel levy charges and overloading fees
2.0 POSITION
TIITLE: ROADS FUNDS MANAGER
2.1REPORTING TO
The Road Fund Manager shall be appointed by and be responsible to the roads
fund board he/she will be responsible for implementing policies and programmes
of the board within the frame work and instructions laid down the board in
accordance with the Act which established the board
2.2 DUTIES AND
REPONSIBILITIES
i. Shall be accounting officer of the board
ii. Shall be the secretary of the board meeting
iii. Supervise preparations of policies and procedure for approval by the board
iv. Oversee the preparations of the annual reports accounts of the boards and
ensure their timely submissions and approval by the board
v. Develop a performance based management culture and assume full
responsibilities for the board day to day operations
vi. Promote good relationship with the government and other organizations
within and outside Tanzania
vii. To perform any other duties to the objectives and functions of the board
that may be entrusted upon him by the board
2.3. QUALIFICATIONS
AND EXPERIENCE
i. Aster degree in either engineering, economics transportations financial
management or related field from recognized institutions
ii. Must be registered as a professional with the relevant board
iii. M10 years minimum of working experience
iv. Demonstrated experience in leadership and strategic management
v. High level of integrity and honesty
vi. Self driven, results oriented and ability to work independently
