Mental Health Authority is a new Agency under the Ministry of Health created by
an Act of Parliament, Mental Health Act 846, 2012. The Authority’s mandate is
to establish an integrated, culturally appropriate quality and accessible
mental health care of world class standard.

Functions:
- Shall
be the Head of the hospital - Shall
be responsible for the day to day running of the hospital - Shall
be assisted by a Hospital Management Committee
Required
Skills or Experience
Skills or Experience
- The
Hospital Director shall be a Senior Health - Management
personnel with at least five years working
experience in Management - Experience
in mental health setting would be an advantage - Shall
be able to serve four-year term renew able for not more than two terms at
a time.
