For our finance department we are searching for a Finance consultant / trainer (female)who will support the staff in our projects in Liberia, Afghanistan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo with development, training and supervision of our financial structure.
Key responsibilities:
• Assessment of demands for financial trainings in our projects
• Develop financial training modules
• Train the finance staff in our projects
– General principles of bookkeeping and accounting
– Special regulations regarding subsidies
– Procedures and processes in finance management
• Advise the finance officers of our projects
– Possibilities of liquidity planning
– Monitoring of budgets
– Support the implementation of a new accounting software
– Cash basis accounting
Required Knowledge and Experience
• Qualification in accounting and/or financial controlling
• Experience in establishing projects (Finance and Administration)
• Experience in managing subsidies
• Experience in hosting financial trainings
• Practical knowledge in adult education
• Diversity of methods
• Excellent level of English and/or French
• Working experience in developing countries , specifically in Africa
