al Cancer – (BLANTYRE)

Major Duties and Responsibilities
To work as a support nurse in MSF
reinforced cervical cancer screening and cryotherapy as well as referral
clinics Blantyre and Chiradzulu districts. The nurse ensures that the cervical
cancer activities i.e. ensure VIA and cryotherapy or cold coagulation and
referral of clients who are suspected with advanced lesions are performed
according to MSF and MOH protocols. The nurse guarantees that the services are
available in good quality to clients during all the clinic days in order to
promote see and treat strategy.
He/she works in close collaboration
with MoH trained cervical cancer providers to ensure good quality of care in
the following domains: Effectiveness, efficiency, patient centeredness, safety
and timeliness relating to delivery of patient education/awareness, VIA,
cryotherapy or cold coagulation at delivery sites.
General responsibilities
1.        
Ensure and maintain good quality of care of cervical cancer services at
delivery sites.
2.        
Perform cervical cancer education/awareness, screening and treatment duties
3.        
Data collection and reporting
General Qualification and skills
·        
Diploma or Degree in Nursing 
and Midwifery
·        
Minimum 2 Years’ experience in areas
of Cervical Cancer Screening or reproductive Health
·        
Desirable working experience in
MSF/MoH
