Kempe
Engineering is seeking to employ suitably qualified Casuals and Fulltime
Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to provide maintenance support to enable
production to meet their production targets. Employees will be required to work
on a fixed or roster basis.
You
will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring
    our HSE and QA systems & procedures are adhered to and documentation
    is completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensuring
    day to day delivery of high quality support to the Client.
  • Inspecting,
    performing mechanical repairs, install and manufacture components to
    ensure optimal machine performance
  • Ensuring
    Client Precision Maintenance procedures are followed
  • Ensuring
    JSA’s and SOP’s are followed
  • Ensuring
    effective customer relationships are created, maintained and built upon.
  • Working
    with operations to identify and resolve plant and equipment reliability
    improvement opportunities
  • Pro-active
    rather than re-active engineering
  • Minimise
    waste via “right first time” philosophy
  • Responsible
    for ensuring achievement of Client maintenance KPI’s
  • Ensuring
    machine downtime is kept to a minimum
  • Ensuring
    planned maintenance schedule (PM) is adhered to
To
be successful in this role you will have:
  • A
    Mechanical Trade Qualification with post trade qualifications
  • A
    Minimum 2-3 years plus within a progressive manufacturing environment
  • A
    flexible and positive attitude
  • Ability
    to work in a team environment
  • Ability
    to meet maintenance schedule requirements
  • Ability
    to read and interpret technical drawings and relevant information
  • Sound
    knowledge of trade quality requirements.
Upon
successfully completing a pre-employment medical, a rewarding employment
contract will be negotiated with the successful applicant/s.
