knowledge of the Community Services Training package qualifications, together
with the ability to lead and mentor experienced and new Community Services
Training Consultants. The person has to be client centric, understanding the
learning needs of the individual and the employer.

To be
selected for this exciting employment and career opportunity you will:

  • Have at
    least three years of experience in a Community Services Coordinator role
  • Facilitation
    of Aged Care or Disability, or Community Services, Mental Health, Health
    Services qualifications 
  • Provide
    advanced facilitation and assessment support to all training consultants
    across the breadth and depth of industry clusters guided by the standards
    detailed in the VET quality framework.
  • Assist
    in the recruitment, selection and induction of training and assessment
    specialists.
  • Support
    the identification and development of resource preparation for training
    and assessing programs across all qualifications and sector
    specialisations.
  • Lead
    the continuous improvement of training and assessment programs through
    scheduled validation meetings and through feedback from clients.
  • Instigate
    innovation and flexibility across all qualifications in your area of
    responsibility
  • Develop
    and establish strong industry networks for TMG
  • Create
    networking and partnership opportunities across your industry areas with
    Skills Councils, Industry and VET sector colleagues
  • Support
    the delivering of high quality training across qualifications in the
    Community Services training package
  • Deliver
    training and assessment in a classroom, workplace, online and via
    distance, to either pilot programs or model best practice
  • Inform
    client specific Traineeship training delivery
  • Support,
    Source, develop and review Community Services learner resources and
    assessment tools to ensure compliance and industry currency
  • Coordinate
    and facilitate moderation and validation sessions
  • Review
    trainer and student VETtrak data on an ongoing basis
  • Review
    marketing materials to ensure compliance in line with training package and
    government requirements.
  • Develop
    PD sessions for Community Services Training Consultants
  • Coordinate
    work placement 
  • Review
    and update training related policies and procedures together with the
    General Manager – Compliance
  • You are
    required to understand legislative requirements of a Registered Training
    Organisation and be able to comprehend and action regular regulatory
    amendments.

Qualification
Requirements:

  • Certificate
    IV in Training and Assessment
  • Recent
    and relevant industry experience
  • Several
    Current Community Services Qualifications
  • Trainer
    Matrix against the qualifications you are able to facilitate
  • Current
    Working with Children Check card and National Police Certificate
  • Current
    drivers’ licence

Your key strengths
will be recent and relevant Community Services Industry coordination and
training delivery experience, your energy, strong verbal communication skills,
a professional presentation, ability to multi task and meet tight deadlines.
Most importantly you will have a strong client service focus, the ability
to network successfully and represent The Malka Group RTO both internally and
externally in a professional manner.
