As an integral member of the De Beers Canada, Victor team, you will be responsible to ensure the safe and proper installation, maintenance, and operation of all plant equipment, machinery and infrastructure to ensure departmental business objectives are met.

Rotation: 2 weeks in and 2 weeks out
Location: Victor Mine

Responsibilities include:
• Develop appropriate engineering maintenance and project systems;
• Review and set standards for existing and new project and maintenance systems;
• Monitor and evaluate equipment performance;
• Ensure all safety, health and environment and legal standards are met and maintained;
• Review and approve engineered designs prepared by internal technicians or contracted engineering services.

Requirements:
• Engineering Degree or Engineering Diploma (Mechanical) with PEO professional licensed (or eligibility);
• Maintenance experience an asset;
• Design experience in low pressure piping, material conveying and various crushing processes is an asset;
• Project management experience;
• Strong communications skills, both, written and verbal;
• Experience in cross-cultural (aboriginal) work environment is an asset.
