Responsibilities:
- Prepare various local regulatory returns to
APRA, ABS & RBA - Balance sheet and profit and loss statements
- Monthly balance sheet analysis
- Ensure compliance with prudential guidelines
- Develop understanding of prudential standards
and continuously seek to improve regulatory reporting processes - Prepare monthly statements of financial
position for the bank to submit to APRA - Prepared the monthly Liquidity Report
- Ensure that the bank is adhering to its
capital adequacy requirements - Liaise with Business unit finance teams, Group
Finance and Risk management to ensure compliance with technical and
regulatory requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Big 4
environment or in banking - Tertiary qualifications complimented with CA
qualifications - Good eye for detail
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong academics
- Strong technical accounting expertise
- Good communication skills both written and
verbal - Team player
- Deadline driven
