The position
Our client is looking for a person to act as director
of Marketing and Distribution to manage the following activities:

Promotion
Promotion
o Direct and Manage our rural promotional activities, including, but not
limited to,

§ Radio programs
§ Rural community promotional events
o Development of promotional materials
o Management of promotion strategy
o Work with company’s Brand Ambassadors for promotional activities.
Distribution
o Development and management of our network of dealers
o Development and management of
dealer incentive program

Marketing & Sales
o Management of a sales team (Depending on capacity of candidate)
o Development of after-sales support infrastructure for all of our
activity in Rwanda

Candidate profile
Desired Professional Experience:
o Marketing experience and/or distribution experience
o Journalism or Public Relations
Desired Practical Experience
o Familiarity with website work: WordPress templates or similar
o Experience with Press releases
o Experience with Promotional events
o Experience with Radio marketing
o Experience with design of promotional materials
o Ability to use design software, such as, but not limited to, Photoshop
or MS Publisher.

o Knowledge of spreadsheets
Organised, reliable and self-motivated.
Ability to lead and manage others.
