Fire/Mechanical Services
We are looking for a
person with either or preferably both, fire systems experience in major
buildings and AutoCAD experience in Mechanical or fire systems. Our intent is
that if the applicant has skills to only one of the above, then we would
provide training.
Role
- Based
in our Brookvale Office - Reporting
to our major clients about their fire systems performance and compliance - Part of
a team of engineers and inspectors providing consultant reports to
building owners - Development
of smoke management/fire specification in conjunction with senior
engineers.
Duties and
Responsibilities
- Testing
fire Panel networks on large buildings - Determining
fire system capacities for future expansion - Documentation
of fire systems capacities on drawings using AutoCAD - Ability
to travel interstate within Australia and able to communicate the
technical performance to the building management team
Skills and Experience
- At
least 5 Years experience in the fire systems industry in Australia - Knowledge
of compliance with relevant Australian Standards is Critical - Knowledge
and use of AutoCAD would be an advantage - Skills
and knowledge of mechanical systems is not essential but would be
beneficial
We are expecting to
pay between $80-110K depending on the capacities of the applicant
and expecting to have the new person join us during May/June 2015 and ask
