Essential Duties
Assist
with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements,
including statutory accounts and income tax reporting
Ensure
compliance with global financial reporti

ng timetables of U.S. based parent
company, while ensuring accurate coding of costs, account reconciliations,
month-end accruals and cut-off times

Support
U.S. parent audit requirements and local audit responses
Keep
accounts in accordance with Australian legal requirements and in accordance
with US GAAP
Responsible
for the management of accounts payable, payments processing, and payroll
Perform
variance reporting analysis of all key areas and assist with management of cash
balances
Maintenance
and improvement of internal controls across the organization, including
developing process improvements and efficiencies
Facilitate
a team environment and coaching and mentoring junior staff
Assist
the CFO with various ad hoc projects and initiatives
Qualifications
5+
years related experience, preferably in a high volume, fast paced manufacturing
environment.
Proficient
in Australian GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting.  Knowledge
of US GAAP a plus.
Experience
in a public company setting a plus
Previous
management & leadership experience with ability to organize, lead change
and motivate cross functionally to meet company objectives. 
Ability
to perform analytical reviews in order to provide input into pricing
strategies, cost savings and overall operating efficiencies.
Ability
to work collaboratively across departmental functions
Strong
organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills.
Ability
to work independently with minimal supervision
CA/CPA
preferred
Proficiency
with Microsoft Office
