Degree in
Agriculture from a recognised i
nstitution, Technical expertise in tobacco
production, Over 10 yrs of experience in agronomy operations, Documented
performance of leading an extension team, Progressive promotion track record
with increasing leadership responsibility, Supply chain expertise in logistics
and warehouse controls, Exceptional IT and data analytical skills, Proven track
record with at least 4 traceable refs, Validated experience in customer
management, Proven in depth knowledge of the tobacco industry’s customer
compliance programs including GAP, ALP and SRTP (Social Responsibility in
Tobacco Production), Must have a valid driver’s licence
Lead an agronomy
extension team to achieve operational targets, Train extension technicians and
farmers on agronomic best practices, Enforce adherence to customer
sustainability programs, Manage operational budgets and farmer loan recovery,
Oversee the operational supply chain to ensure farmer input packages are
delivered on time, Enforce company Health and Safety procedures
