Spinal Management Clinics (a division of LifeCare) has a proven track record of
providing physiotherapists with high quality mentoring to develop their
clinical skills to the highest level. Our network includes multi-disciplinary
centres as well as quality physiotherapy practices.
Whilst becoming an expert practitioner, Spinal Management Clinics has a
structure that provides high levels of income earning potential. In addition,
we have preferred provider arrangements with many large organisations. Many of
our practitioners are Occupational Physiotherapists and opportunity exists for
newly recruited physiotherapists to participate in this exciting TAC/WorkSafe
initiative. We are also preferred provider of Pain Management services to
TAC/WorkSafe.
Spinal Management Clinics has a raft of unique services that differentiate us
from our competitors and provide a broad range of experiences for our
practitioners. These include:
- Evidence-based early injury management
including manual therapy and early identification of psychosocial distress - Functional Restoration – the evidence-based

We provide a highly structured and supportive education/mentoring program that

- Group based education sessions every 2-3

performance to provide accurate practitioner feedback that guides future

Spinal Management Clinics have a number of clinical research interests,
particularly in the area of low back pain (see stopsbackpain.com.au).
Our LBP research team comprises 5 PhD students who all combine a clinical
caseload with co-ordinated research study. Our affiliation with La Trobe
University allows practitioners to reach the highest level of clinical
excellence through clinical research. Current we are researching the efficacy
of specific treatment on carefully selected types of LBP.
