LEL is located in Bushrod Island, it can provide all the technical support required to ensure
Serviceability of CATERPILLAR equipment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To supervise the financial department of LEL, stand guarantor for the reliability for the accounts, and provide assistance to the Financial Controller in all financial aspects on the project.
Essential functions:
– Prepare financial reports, including monthly funds reconciliation and monthly expenditure statements
– Prepare cash flow forecast
– Control all the transactions and ensure that all the accounting process are correctly applied
– Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date financial statements
– Prepare required documents and reports and provide assistance to any external auditor
– Ensure the payment of all tax contributions that the business activity make necessary by following legally procedure
JOB REQUIREMENT:
– A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a recognized institution
– A minimum of 5 years experience in accounting, 1 year as chief accountant or supervisor for accounting department.
– Having a complete knowledge of the Liberian tax Code and being able to keep oneself informed
– An excellent use of excel
– An experience in an audit firm, NGOs and the private sector will be an added advantage
