Opportunity
1
We
are seeking qualified Trainer and Assessors to deliver our face to face Certificate
III in Technical Production (CUS30109)
at a local high School. As a Trainer
and Assessor, you will be integral to ensuring our students have a positive
learning experience, graduate from their course and master the knowledge and
skills required to enter the music industry. You will work with the head
trainer and School staff to ensure an ongoing high quality, flexible and
current learning program. The current course is already running, with 2.5 terms
remaining. Course operates 1 day per week. There is scope to collaborate with
the right trainer to launch further courses (either onsite at LMA Head
Quarters, or at local High Schools).

We
are seeking qualified Trainers and Assessors to assist in delivering our face
to face Diploma of Music (CUS50109). As a Trainer and Assessor at a
Diploma level, you will bring vast industry and teaching experiences to the
program. Once again, its integral to ensuring our students have a very positive
learning experience, graduate from their course and master the knowledge and
skills required to enter the music industry. We have a range of new units to
launch very soon (term 2 of the current program), we are wanting to recruit a
new trainer (or two) to ensure adequate training and planning time ahead of day
one. You will work with the course manager, administration manager, assistant
manager and current staff to ensure an ongoing high quality and current
learning program.

We
are seeking very experienced industry professionals to assist as either
semi-regular or regular guests with our face to face Diploma of Music
(CUS50109)
. As an industry professional, you will bring vast industry
experiences to the program and work closely with the qualified trainers. We
have a range of new units to launch very soon, and as such are eager to hear
from suitably qualified candidates. You will work with the course manager,
administration manager, assistant manager and current staff to ensure an
ongoing high quality and current learning program. Days / times will be
negotiated with the candidate, to fit in with the overall structure of the
course.
 
Requirements
and further details – 
•  
 Diploma Trainers must hold a nationally recognised Diploma of Music
or higher level relevant industry qualification. *They must also hold a current
TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.  
•  
 Certificate 3 in Technical Production Trainers must hold a Certificate 3
Level qualification or higher. **They must also hold a current TAE40110 Certificate
IV in Training and Assessment.
A
working with Children check will need to occur ahead of start date for the
chosen applicant.
•  
 Industry guests must have proven industry experiences to a very high
level. We seek to appoint those with a strong interest in music education and
training. 
•  
 The ability to work positively with a team in a training environment, and
also within the context of a “small business”.
•  
 The suitable applicants will be planners, problem solvers and great /
positive communicators.
•  
 We seek to collaborate with new staff with a long term vision. *It’s
possible for the right person(s) that we may be able to enter into negotiations
for the launch of further courses (either course types that are currently
running, or other). *We have a specific interest in launching technical
production at a diploma level, and also Diploma in Film / Screen course.
•  
 We pride ourselves in working very closely with all students, and as such
we use various forms of communication tools to remain fully engaged throughout
the course. Trainers that we employ must be able to embrace and enjoy this
level of attention to detail.
•  
 The overarching goal for LMA is that of community music making and music
culture development. New staff must also be able to assist us to enhance this
core focus. We are a community based music education business.
•  
 We will be conducting interviews over the next 7-10 days, with immediate
start for suitable candidates. New units to deliver means a high level of qualiy
planning needs to be under way. Let’s go! : )
