The Field Operations Director provides leadership with the end to end
responsibility in the Managed Services t
eam. Planning, organising and driving
of MS delivery field maintenance telecom field teams. Responsible for managing
of a large operations field services team providing operations support for one
of Australia leading Telco’s. Reporting into the Customer Operations Manager.
You will be responsible for managing large teams of field engineers providing
break fix service for Telco network operators, other teams will include
Level 1 support, field operations, Customer care support and Radio
Network optimisation teams for a Field maintenance Services contract 24/7. T
There is a large liaison piece within this role between internal and external
stakeholders; therefore the successful individual will need to be able to
present to Executive and GM level, as well as manage across and down across the
the business.
Key Components of the role:
- Accountable
and responsible for customer relationship, service quality, operational
governance, constant service improvements, cost and resource management - Operational
Leadership and strategy leadership, set up governance field operation
delivery model - Develop
field maintenance operation manuals - Acting
as a delegated representative for the COM when needed - Management
of the Operational field teams including, NOC, Surveillance Teams, Radio
Care Teams, Level 2, Field Technicians, Riggers, Field managers, Project
Managers, - Responsible
for developing and managing Operational checklist and end to end process
lists - Ensure
the projects deliver all operational requirements as agreed - Establish
and maintain strong and productive relationships with the customer and
delivery field teams - Manages
and updates overall risk/issue register and escalates where appropriate - Available
24/7 for major escalations - Build
and maintain strong relationships with all customers in the operations
delivery teams
The successful candidate:
- Will
have a minimum of 10 years in senior management, experienced in managing
large complex field maintenance Telecommunication projects - Confident
in relationship management – both internal stakeholders an vendors
at GM level - Experience
in managing vendors, suppliers and out-sourced contracts - Will
be self-managing and driven to achieve goals - Strong
influencing and management experience - Ability
to manage high priority tasks and competing priorities - managed
engineering teams of 100+ onshore and offshore (NOC, Radio, Field
teams) - Experienced
in delivering managed services projects - Experience
working in a fast pace Telco environment
