The role:
Reporting to the Distribution Manager you will
contribute to the Company’s profitability and growth through establishing and
maintaining a professional, efficient and courteous service level in all
aspects of contact with customers and consumers

Your major responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and training a team of four
Customer Service Clerks - Provide professional customer and consumer
support in all areas of enquiries, complaints and product
information - Coordinate and process manual orders and
accurate and timely processing of automated customer orders (Electronic
Data Interchange – EDI System) - Coordinate efficient resolution and processing
of customer claims and establish methods to monitor and eliminate
incidence - Maintain. measure and report against key
customer service indices - Work with IT and Distribution Manager to
ensure the EAPL system functions effectively and efficiently - Assist the Distribution Manager with adhoc
projects as required - Reception relief duties when required
- Responsible for customer support functions
including :- Sales Returns, liaison with warehouse and distribution
centres and interaction with Sales and Receivables divisions - Manage complaints and take
ownership
To be considered for this position you will have:
- Minimum 2 years previous Team Leader
experience in an FMCG environment is essential for this position - Experienced in people management – coaching,
leading, motivating staff - EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) order
management experience is essential - Familiar with supply chain process
- Ability to deal with difficult
consumers/customers - Sound knowledge of ERP systems and
process problem solving ability - Strong communication and presentation skills
- Highly established organisational skills
- Excellent time management
- Data Entry skills with high level of accuracy
- Ability to prioritise and meet critical
deadlines - Intermediate MS Office
