from suitably qualified persons for the post of Director, University Health
Services

Duties:
- The
successful Candidate shall be required to take charge of a busy
out-Patient Department, 135-Bed Hospital which caters for the University
and surrounding communities. - The
Hospital has Five Wards including Maternity and Children’s Departments,
Operating Theatre, Laboratory, Pharmacy, X-ray and Ultra Sound, ECG,
Dental Clinic, Eye Clinic and other Ancillary Services. - The
Hospital is also accredited by the Medical and Dental Council of Ghana and
the Ghana - College
of Physicians and Surgeons for the training of House Officers and
Residents.

- Applicants
must possess a recognised Primary University Degree in Medicine and
Surgery (MB ChB) or Dentistry (BDS) and must have had at least fifteen
(15) years post qualification experience in the practice of
Medicine/Dentistry. - Applicants
must possess a Postgraduate Degree from a recognised Institution of Higher
Learning in a relevant field of Study. - Applicants
with Membership and/or Fellowship from a recognised Professional Body
would have added advantage. - Applicants
must also show evidence of post qualification experience in a Senior
Management position within the Ghana Health Service and/ or
AnalogousInstitutions in the Health Delivery Sector.
