Civil CAD
Drafter
KCB is seeking a
motivated individual to fulfill a casual role as a Civil CAD Drafter, based in
our Brisbane office. This role will ideally be suited to a student looking to
work whilst completing studies, with the potential to continue in the role as
workload allows.
In this role, you
will have the opportunity to work with an internationally renowned engineering
team, across a diverse ra
nge of mining-focussed domestic and international
projects. Duties will include drafting and civil design for predominantly
mining earthworks using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The position will require the
candidate(s) to be able to operate with a degree of autonomy, although most
assignments will be undertaken as part of a core group of Civil Design
Drafters.

to Prepare and update Engineering drawings
Proficient
AutoCad skills
Civil
3D software experience
Knowledge
of earthworks and civil engineering in mining environments.
Diploma
of Engineering Technology (Civil), Diploma of Civil Engineering
(Drafting/Design) or similar from a recognised technical institution (or be
working towards their qualification in these fields)
Energy
and passion
Strong
interpersonal, time management and organisation skills
Excellent
verbal and written communication skills in English, and the ability to
effectively work autonomously as well as in a team of professionals
